Though it is the belief of CPED that the benefiting communities and groups should tell people what we have done, often times, we highlight some of our achievements in order for other people to benefit from our experience.
CPED has been active in developmental research and some of these have been followed with intervention programmes. Today, CPED can boast of over 1000 groups in different communities at the grassroots level across the nine states of the Niger Delta in particular, and other states in Nigeria in general, that have benefited from our intervention programmes.
These groups are from various backgrounds with respect to their territorial locations, ethnicity, culture, religion among others. Some of them are resident in difficult a terrain which has made them largely inaccessible to development activities that tend to focus on urban areas. The joy of CPED is the appreciation of these groups to CPED and her donor agencies that consistently support our activities.
